Monday 1 October:

14.00     Introduction to the theme and the objectives of the studio: E. Karanastasi M. Poponcini.
Introduction to the objectives of the elective course and the collaboration with the studio: A. Heylighen
15.00     Guest Lecture Margo Annemans “What makes an environment heeling?”
16.00     Detailed presentation of the Architectural brief of Maggies and the list of all Maggie’s centres. E. Karanastasi. (Inscribe in the list: 1 maggie's centre/2 students until 18.00)
16.30-17.00 Presentation from ex-students of 1Mira that are now starting their thesis on Maggie’s centres with A. Heylighen, M. Annemans and I. Van Steenwinkel. They will present the experience of working with user/experts last year, they will show the blog of last year and they will tell us which Maggie’s they chose as case studies and why.
17.00-18.00         Break to make photocopies and photos from the books borrowed from AIDA team/ internet search
18.00-19.00         Seminar: Set-up of questionnaire for the next day (What would the wished topics of discussion be and what would you like to ask the (ex)patients).

16.00-17.00 Studio work and preparation. Computer room/Eupoco room
17.00-19.00 Student Presentation: Maggie’s centres. Eupoco room. Outcome: 1 A3 per team. Presentation through the beamer, no prints.
